Get Out Of Your Head & Into Your Life

No advice. Just better questions, and the space to let them land.

Question-led coaching for men ready to live the life they actually want, not the one that looks good on paper.

Book a Discovery Call

“I’m fine” is a complete sentence, but it’s rarely a true one.

A lot of us show up each day on auto-pilot, and somewhere along the way we get stuck. Stuck in our own head. And while we’re technically moving through life, we’re not really going anywhere.

As a second-generation engineer who was taught to be a man’s man, I realized I wanted more. On my own journey of self-discovery, I learned that when you ask the right questions, you see yourself, get out of your head, and unearth the right answers to get out of life’s quicksand.

The Approach

Most coaches hand you someone else’s framework and ask you to fit inside it. That’s not what I do. You talk. I listen closely, closer than you’re used to being listened to. Then I ask questions to help you slow down, observe the pattern, and peel back the truth. I’m not an oracle with vague answers about your energy. I’m not an executive coach with a tried-and-tested system for your life. I’m a guide with an engineer’s instinct for patterns and certified training in deep listening.

I don’t read your energy from the outside and hand you a diagnosis. We start in the body, where a feeling actually lives before it’s been talked into something tidier. Then I ask the questions that connect what you’re feeling, to the situation that triggered it, to the story you’ve been quietly telling yourself about it. Not so you have an insight and move on, but so you catch the pattern earlier next time, and get to choose instead of react.

In Their Words

“My coaching experience was insightful & very guiding for my current situation that I’m working through. The communication was a perfect balance of empathetic, curious, & insightful leading to helpful solutions.”

Filip; a former engineer, not an oracle, still figuring out life while asking better questions.

I’m an iPEC-certified coach trained in an Eastern-philosophy-influenced approach built on deep listening, close observation, and asking better questions. As I shared, before this I was an engineer so I’m constantly trying to solve problems and discover insightful patterns.

I’m 6′7, and I spent years making myself smaller to fit into the world around me. Nobody really teaches you how to be big. Elephants are gentle, but they don’t ask to occupy space. They simply exist. That’s the thing I’m most interested in helping men cultivate in their own lives: a deep comfort in living in their own skin and making more conscious choices. I’m not here because I’ve figured my own life out. I’m here because I’m still examining it and asking myself better questions every day.

Where are you standing right now?

Energy isn’t a personality type. It’s a pattern, and most of us move through more than one in a single day.

Withdraw like a turtle. Fight like it’s the only language you’ve got. Rationalize your way into “fine” like a fox. Give until there’s nothing left, like a dog who only knows one way to be useful. Move with steady, cooperative power, like a horse. Trust your gut over your spreadsheet, like a dolphin. Or arrive somewhere that doesn’t need to win or lose to know what it is. That’s the elephant.

Nobody hands you this map. I didn’t get one either. Naming where you’re standing is the first real move.

  1. Turtle
  2. Wolverine
  3. Fox
  4. Dog
  5. Horse
  6. Dolphin
  7. Elephant

Single 1:1 Coaching Session(s)

One session, shaped entirely by what you bring. It could be the rules about manhood you inherited, how anger moved through your house, or what got carried forward and what got buried. There’s no set path. See what this session evokes in you.

Your questions, answered.

What’s the difference between what you do and therapy?

Coaching works alongside therapy, not instead of it. Therapy can address mental health, diagnosis, healing, and treatment. My role is different: we focus on what you’re noticing now, how you want to show up, and the choices you want to make going forward based on the life you want to live.

Is this for me if I’m not in crisis?

You don’t need to be falling apart. You might just know something feels off, you’re stuck in your own head, or the way you’ve been operating isn’t working anymore. That’s enough of a place to start.

What actually happens in a coaching session?

You talk. I listen closely. I ask questions that help you slow down, notice patterns, and get underneath your first answer. I’m not here to hand you a framework or tell you what to do. We make sense of what’s there together. Every now and again I will offer a reframe or perspective for you to chew on.

What will I actually get out of this?

The goal is to understand yourself clearly enough to stop reacting and start acting. You leave better able to recognize what you’re feeling, understand the stories currently driving you, and make conscious choices about how you want to show up.

Why should I trust you to help me?

I’m an iPEC-certified coach trained in an Eastern-philosophy-influenced approach centered on deep listening, observation, and asking better questions. I also bring an engineer’s instinct for patterns, an explorer’s curiosity, and an immigrant’s persistence, resiliency, and dedication to my clients. I’m not here because I’ve figured life out. I’m committed to continuing to examine my own, too.

How is this different from the self-help/coaching world I don’t trust?

I’m confident that if you’re already asking this question, then we’re already more alike than you think. I also know that any answer I give here is one you’ll accept with skepticism, so again, we’re more alike than you think. I don’t sell anything I don’t believe in. Read what actual clients have said about working with me, or better yet, test it yourself in a free discovery call before you decide.

What if I don’t even know what’s wrong? I just know something feels off, but can’t put words to it.

I’m here to help you put your own words to it and see what you want to make of it. This is where somatic-informed questions can help you digest your own feelings and eventually put to words what the disconnect is.

Start with a conversation.

30 minutes, free, no pressure. You talk, I listen, we both decide honestly whether it’s a fit.
