Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Gentle Giant Way Coaching (“we,” “us”) collects through gentlegiantway.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: this website itself collects very little. It has no sign-up forms and no advertising, it sets no cookies, and it counts visits only with cookie-free statistics that can’t identify you.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you, directly. Like every website, our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically processes basic technical information when your browser requests a page (your IP address, browser type, and the page requested) in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use this information to identify or track you.
To understand which pages are read, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It records the page you viewed, the site that sent you here, your browser, operating system, device type, and approximate country. It doesn’t use cookies or store your IP address, and it can’t identify you or follow you to other websites. Visits are grouped with an anonymous identifier that resets every 24 hours.
Our fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page does not send your information to any font or other third-party service.
When you book a session
Booking buttons take you to Calendly, a separate scheduling service. When you book, Calendly collects the details you enter there (typically your name, email address, time zone, chosen time, and any answers you give to booking questions) and shares them with us so we can hold the session. Calendly handles that information under its own privacy policy.
We use your booking details only to schedule, prepare for, and follow up on your session.
When you email us
If you write to hello@gentlegiantway.com, we receive whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply to you.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We don’t use tracking pixels, advertising tools, or analytics that follow you across sites.
- We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added.
If you become a client
How information shared during coaching is handled, including session notes and confidentiality, is set out in your coaching agreement. The rights below still apply.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details and correspondence only as long as we need them to work with you, and delete them when they’re no longer needed or when you ask us to, unless we’re required to keep something by law (for example, basic records of paid services for tax purposes).
Your choices, including deletion
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete your information.
To make a request, email hello@gentlegiantway.com with the subject “Privacy request” from the address you used with us. We’ll confirm it’s you, act on it, and reply within 30 days. There’s no charge. We will also ask Calendly to delete any booking records it holds on our account; you can contact Calendly directly as well.
If you’re in the EU, UK, or a US state with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights under that law, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We’ll honor them.
Children
This site and our coaching are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Changes
If what we collect changes (for example, if we add a newsletter or online payments), we’ll update this page before the change takes effect and change the date at the top.
